Your mattress is probably the most expensive bedding item you own and an easily removable and washable mattress protector will help keep it in top condition. An essential addition to your bedding, a good quality protector will protect your mattress from general wear and tear plus common staining and accidental spillage.

Materials:

Fabric: 100% pure cotton.
Filling: 100% cotton in 200gsm.
Skirt: Fully elasticated 100% cotton skirt.
Casing: 100% cotton percale in 200 thread count.
Fit: Deep fit up to 40cm mattress depth - Goes on top of your mattress and underneath your bottom sheet.

Care:

Made slightly oversized to allow for natural shrinkage when first washed.
Machine wash at 30° to 40° before use and then once every 1-4 weeks.
Use non-bio (enzyme free) detergent sparingly, as too much detergent may damage the soft cotton filling in your protector.
Fabric softener can reduce absorbency so it is best not to use it but if you do, use only a small amount.
Wash separately or only with other white cotton bedding. Washing with clothing may cause friction leading to piling. Washing with darker colours may cause your protector to become grey in colour.
Line dry or tumble dry at lower heat - use our Wool Tumble Dryer Balls to reduce tumble drying time and add a little extra softness without using chemicals.

Clearance returns:

14 day returns: Products must be unused, unwashed and in the original packaging. Inform Scooms within 14 days of purchase and return products within 28 days for a full refund.
All clearance products are returnable at customer cost and the 60 sleeps' trial does not apply.
Customers are responsible for ensuring items are returned. We recommend using a trackable returns service. Scooms will only refund items that we receive.
Or book a Scooms return for £10: Contact us to arrange a DPD return via a DPD pickup shop with either a prepaid print at home returns label or a QR code. The £10 fee will be deducted from your refund.
Secure packing: Use the original box or another secure cardboard box. We cannot accept returns in plastic bags or wrapping as this can tear damaging the contents.
