Natural Scented Candles

Materials:

• Natural wax: 100% Soy wax for 30cl & 9cl candles. A blend of rapeseed, soy and olive wax for 30cl candle refills.
• 100% pure essential oils.
• Wooden wicks: FSC certified hardwood.
• Refillable 30cl glass jar container: Reuse with our candle refills for a more sustainable choice.
• Discovery set: 3 x 9cl frosted glass jars.
• Non-toxic: Free from paraffin, phthalates, artificial or synthetic colours.
• Sustainably produced, Ethically sourced, Vegan friendly.
• Recyclable packaging: Eco-friendly, fully recyclable packaging.

How to burn:

• Trim the wick/s to 0.5cm before each use to avoid smoking and damage to the glass.
• Burn for at least 2 hours each time (no more than 3 hours) to ensure an even melt pool.
• Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches; they can cause your candle to burn faster.
• Use your candle in a well-ventilated area, away from drafts and fans.
• Burn your candle on a level heat resistant surface - use a plate or candle stand to block the heat and protect your table surface.
• After every burn, ensure the wick is upright, above the wax and central before the wax resets.
• Make sure the wax meets the edge of the jar before extinguishing the flame to help your candle last longer and prevent your candle from tunnelling.
• Use a wick snuffer when extinguishing the flame to prevent any smoking.
• Stop burning for the final time once 5mm of wax remains in the jar.

How to store your candle jars:

• After use, once the glass has cooled, place your candle jar in the storage box to protect it from dust which can cause issues for future burning and dull the fragrance.
• If there is condensation on your candle, wipe it off with a paper towel before burning.
• Don't store your candle for too long, as the fragrance can be affected over time.
• To clean & reuse your 30cl candle jars: Clean your jar by either pouring hot water onto the wax and waiting for it to cool before picking at the disc of wax that rises to the surface. Or by placing it in soapy water and cleaning gently. Remove the old wick sticker and discard. Don't clean your jar in the dishwasher.
• Make sure the glass is crack free: The glass vessels can degrade over time with multiple uses so always check for imperfections before using and replace your jar regularly.
• All our candle wax is natural and plant based so you can add it to your composter.
• Reuse your 30cl candle jars with our candle refills or repurpose them. Don't let your jar end up in landfill.

Candle safety warnings:

• Never leave your burning candle unattended.
• Don't burn your candle near flammable materials.
• Keep away from drafts, children and pets.
• Don't allow the flame to touch the glass.
• Note that the glass may become hot during use.
• Leave 10cms between burning candles.
• If any skin irritation or rash occurs or you feel unwell, please seek medical advice.
• Candle refills are not designed to be used without a candle jar: Use in your candle jar once the previous candle wax has been used up. Ensure all residual wax, soot and fragrance oils are fully removed before reuse. Improper cleaning can pose a fire hazard or result in contamination.
• Before reusing a candle jar, carefully inspect it for cracks, chips or signs of wear. Damaged jars can break and should not be reused.
• Only use our candle refills with heat-resistant glass jars like ours.

Returns:

• 30 night returns: If unused, unwashed and returned in the original packaging.
• Free mainland UK returns & exchanges: Via a DPD pickup shop with either a prepaid print at home returns label or a QR code.
• Secure packing: Use the original packing envelope / box or another secure cardboard box. We cannot accept returns in plastic bags or wrapping as this can tear damaging the contents.
