What is an all season duvet?
An all season duvet is a set of two duvets with different tog ratings that can be used separately or fixed together, providing a cost-effective duvet option you can use all year-round.

What are the benefits of an all season duvet? You will get:
- A 3-in-1 duvet set, with one lower tog duvet and one higher tog duvet, which can be fastened to each other to provide 3 different tog options.
- The choice of different warmths depending on the seasonal temperature and your personal sleep preferences.
- A convenient all-year-round duvet, also called a summer-winter duvet, so you have bedtime covered year round.
- A cost-effective money saving option as most all season duvets come with a discount compared to buying two separate duvets.
All seasons duvet weights
The most popular all season duvet weights or duvet tog combinations are:
- All seasons 7 tog duvet: 4.5 tog duvet plus 2.5 tog duvet - Perfect for warmer weather or hot sleepers all year round.
- All seasons 11.5 tog duvet: 2.5 tog duvet plus 9 tog duvet - Ideal for hot summer sleepers and the chilly winter months.
- All seasons 13.5 tog duvet: 4.5 tog duvet plus 9 tog duvet - Our most popular all seasons duvet choice with a summer duvet and a winter duvet.
How do all season duvets fix together?
The two duvets in your Scooms all season duvet set will have matching buttonholes. Every all season duvet comes with a pack of our new improved duvet fasteners which can be fixed through these buttonholes. These cufflink style fasteners are easy to use and will securely hold your two duvets together all night long.
Each pack of duvet fasteners comes with 16 fasteners plus 3 spare. We recommend using 16 fasteners for our double, king and super king duvets, and 12 fasteners for our single size duvets.
You can also buy extra packs of our duvet fasteners.
Don't forget to remove your duvet fasteners before washing your duvet as they may get damaged during the washing cycle.
Adding a second duvet later
If you buy a single tog duvet, such as a 9 tog duvet, but decide that you want to add a second duvet at a later date so you can create an all season duvet, then that's easy with a Scooms duvet. All our duvets have matching hand-stitched buttonholes so you can easily add a second duvet and make an all seasons duvet set. Email us to request that a fastener pack is added to your order - sleep@Scooms.com.
How to store the duvet you're not using
Our all season duvets come in a reusable fabric bag so that you can store the duvet you are not using. We recommend either airing your duvet for 48 hours before storing it or washing it first if you have been using it for more than 6-12 months. See our duvet care and washing guide.
Never pack away a duvet that could have moisture lingering in the natural goose down filling as this can damage the lovely clusters of down!
