Our Mulberry silk fitted sheet, in a lovely ivory colour, features a continuous elastic hem, 34cm depth and a helpful feet label so it's easy to work out which way it goes on the bed. It comes in a Mulberry silk bag for easy storage.

With natural anti-bacterial properties, Mulberry silk is the perfect bed sheet fabric if you have sensitive skin. The silk will also help hydrate your skin during the night and prevent any friction on skin or hair due to the smoothness of the surface. Made to match with our Mulberry silk pillowcases and Mulberry silk eye masks.

Materials:

  • Fabric: 100% pure Mulberry silk, finest 6A grade, 22 momme.
  • Pillowcase: Housewife style, envelope closure.
  • Fitted sheet: Continuous elastic hem, 34cm depth & helpful feet label showing which way round your sheet goes.
  • Eye mask: Softly padded, with a gently elasticated headband - fits best with the strap below the broadest part of your head, just above your ears.

Care:

  • Use with freshly cleaned skin, free from make up or chemical products that may stain the delicate fabric.
  • Machine wash on delicate or hand wash using mild detergent or silk-specific detergent.
  • Do not bleach or use stain removers.
  • Do not tumble dry & dry away from direct sunlight.
  • After washing, excess water can be squeezed from our eye masks by gently pressing the eye mask in a clean folded towel.
  • Iron on low heat.

The ideal momme weight for silk sheets is between 19 and 22, for the best durability, softness and a luxurious feel. Momme is used to measure silk instead of thread count because silk fibres are much thinner in diameter than cotton. 22 Momme provides the best quality silk sheets, which is what we use at Scooms. We would definitely recommend a silk sheet rather than a satin sheet. Silk is a 100% natural fabric with proteins and amino acids that provide beauty benefits for your skin and hair. Whereas satin is a man-made material using a blend of polyester or rayon and provides no benefits to your skin or hair. The temperature regulating properties of silk will help you sleep better, keeping you cooler in hot weather and cosier in colder weather. Satin sheets are not very breathable and can leave you feeling hot and sweaty at night.
