Hungarian Goose Down Pillow

I was definitely in need of new pillows, I dare not say how long I’ve had the old ones. I wanted to replace my Hungarian pillows with like for like. I saw these being recommended by the Guardian so bit the bullet and bought these. I am not disappointed, they are amazing. At first I thought they would be far too plump for me, I sleep with a low loft single pillow. However these just mould to your needs, they are perfect and although expensive, the verdict is a resounding 10 out of 10. If tempted, go for it, you won’t regret it. I’m a side sleeper and I sleep on two pillows with my hand in between the two of them (!) - my current ones no-longer plumped up like they used to and I found myself adjusting them throughout the night, waking up with a sore neck. It’s very hard to get king-sized pillows without ordering online and I had returned two orders because they were simply too flat for me (one order even arrived with the pillows practically vacuum packed, presumably to save on postage) and I had almost given up hope until I read about Scooms. They arrived quickly and in a huge box with their own zip-up dust covers. I absolutely love my new pillows. They’re magnificent. They quickly rise up when I’m not lying on them and plump up as if they’re brand new every time. Best buy of 2026 thus far! Thank you.

Brought Kingsize Pillows from Scooms lovely Pillows perfect for my needs

I saw a review about this pillow in the Daily Mail You magazine. As I get a lot of neck pain I decided to give it a go. I can honestly say it is fantastic and I have no hesitation in recommending it.

This pillow has made a big difference - reducing my neck pain and improving my sleep.
I was looking for something that gave the experience of sleeping at a luxury hotel whilst being certain around ethics and sustainability and Scooms has delivered. I initially ordered the medium/firm but realised instantly that it was bigger than would suit my neck (my husband would have loved it but I’ve told him to buy his own) and so I messaged scooms who immediately arranged a return sticker so I could swap for this one. As soon as they received the first pillow back they refunded the difference and sent me this one.

I’ve been really impressed with this pillow so far. It feels quite firm and full when you first get it, which gives good initial support, but after a few nights it beds in nicely and becomes softer and more comfortable without losing that underlying support. 

It has that proper hotel-quality feel – light, breathable, and moulds well to your head and neck. I’ve found it strikes a really good balance between comfort and support once it settles in.

Overall, a great quality pillow that just gets better after a few nights’ use.

The pillow is very supportive of my neck and head but just a little too firm for me and sadly not as comfortable as I was expecting.

I needed to replace a goose down pillow with no support or life in it at all. Initially, I thought that I had made a big mistake as the Hungarian Goose Down Pillow (soft/medium) seemed so big and full. However, much to my delight, the pillow does its job perfectly. It is supportive but not too firm. It is difficult to describe just how good it is, but it is very good. It simply works and does the job that it is made to do.
