How to fold your fitted sheet in 7 easy steps

Folding a fitted sheet can seem tricky, but if you follow these steps you'll never find it awkward again!

  1. Fold your sheet as soon as you've removed it from your dryer before it starts to crease.
  2. First, make sure you have plenty of space and a flat surface. A bed or table will do.
  3. Turn the sheet inside out and take hold of the 2 corners on the long side of the sheet.
  4. Bring the corners together and fold one over the other.
  5. Pull out the edges to straighten and then repeat with the other corner.
  6. Place the sheet on your flat surface and fold into a rectangle, smoothing as you go.
  7. Fold into thirds and then fold again into either a square or rectangular shape that will fit neatly in your linen cupboard.
