Your mattress is probably the most expensive bedding item you own and an easily removable and washable mattress protector will help keep it in top condition. An essential addition to your bedding, a good quality protector will protect your mattress from general wear and tear plus common staining and accidental spillage. 

• Pure cotton: 100% cotton filling in 200gsm, fully elasticated 100% cotton skirt & 100% cotton percale casing in 200 thread count.
• Mattress protector sizes: Deep fit, up to 40cm mattress depth - Single: 90 x 190cm * Double: 135 x 190cm * King: 150 x 200cm * Super King: 180 x 200cm.
• Fit: Goes on top of your mattress and underneath your normal fitted or flat sheet. The deep fit elasticated cotton skirt pulls over the sides and corners of your mattress to keep it snugly in place.
• Wash: Made slightly oversized to allow for natural shrinkage when first washed. Machine wash warm and tumble dry at lower heat.

Mattress protector care

• Wash before use and then every 1 – 4 weeks.
• Machine wash at 30° - 40° using non-bio (enzyme free) detergent. Don't add too much detergent as this can clog up your machine and the soft cotton filling in your protector.
• Fabric softener can reduce absorbency so it is best not to use it but if you do, use it sparingly.
• Wash separately or only with other white cotton bedding. Washing with clothing may cause friction leading to piling. Washing with darker colours may cause your protector to become grey in colour.
• Line dry or tumble dry at lower heat - use our Wool Tumble Dryer Balls to reduce tumble drying time and add a little extra softness without using chemicals.
