It features a chamber construction, think 'sandwich', that has a firmer inner core with a high feather content surrounded by a softer squashier layer that's rich in goose down. Our Hungarian goose down pillow comes in two sizes:

  • Standard size (50cm x 75cm)
  • King size (50cm x 90cm) - Also sometimes called 'Super king'.

And two firmness types:

  • Soft/medium - For side sleepers & stomach sleepers.
  • Medium/firm - For side sleepers & back sleepers.

Ethically sourced Hungarian goose down and feather pillows designed by Emily & Jonathan in the UK and made in small batches in Hungary using renewable energy. Every pillow comes with an Original Hungarian Goose Down tag and QR code for guaranteed traceability.

Materials:

  • Filling: Hungarian goose down & selected small white Hungarian goose feather.
  • Cover: 100% super soft sateen cotton, in 300 thread count with a special tight dust mite proof weave.
  • Chamber construction: Medium firm inner core: 15% down + 85% feather; softer outer chambers: 90% down + 10% feather.
  • Pillow types: Soft/Medium & Medium/Firm with 600-650 CUIN down fill power.

Care:

  • Shake and plump up your pillow daily to keep the goose down airy.
  • Stand your pillow up each morning and open the window to allow air to circulate.
  • Use a pillowcase in a breathable material like 100% cotton or linen and change it once a week or more often. Synthetics aren't breathable.
  • An overly tight pillow protector or pillowcase can squash the down and affect the loft and feel of the pillow.
  • Wash at 40° every 6-12 months using non-bio (enzyme free) detergent - about a third of the usual amount.
  • Tumble dry on low heat. Your pillow will take longer to dry than a clothes load. Shake the pillow several times during drying to prevent clumping.
  • Use our Wool Tumble Dryer Balls to keep the down filling aerated and to reduce drying time.
  • Replace your pillow every 1 to 2 years for peak support.

So, I have totally been around the houses trying to find the right pillow. I was using an old one that gave me neck pain, then I switched to a really high tech memory foam one that was so hard and uncomfortable it made me feel like I was waking up in prison. Then I took a totally different approach and went for this high end luxury pillow, and honestly this is the best pillow I’ve ever had. It’s such good quality, adapts to your body so well, and has a lovely luxurious deep feeling to it, you just sink right in. I went for medium firm because I’m a side sleeper/back sleeper and I like a bit of height, and it’s worked out perfectly.

Naturally breathable and moisture wicking Hungarian goose down and goose feather provides three to four times more air circulation than synthetic fillings.

Our chamber pillow (think sandwich) has a high percentage goose feather core for firmness and an outer surround of mostly soft and springy goose down that contours gently to your head. Your pillow will plump up perfectly with a morning shake, but make sure any covering isn't tight or unbreathable as this can stop air reaching the filling and prevent it from fluffing up.

A standard size pillow measures 50cm x 75cm (20” x 30”) and a king (super king) size pillow is 50cm x 90cm (20” x 35”). These are the two most common pillow sizes. Choose the pillow size you find most comfortable for you. Two king size pillows will fit perfectly across a super king size bed.

If you choose to use a pillow protector, make sure it is made from a breathable material like cotton and that the protector is not overly tight as this can squash the down and affect the loft of the pillow. Yes, you can wash our goose down and feather pillows in your washing machine if your drum is larger enough or at a laundrette. Follow the instructions on the care label. We recommend that you wash your pillow at 40° every 6-12 months or when required to keep your pillow filling fluffy.
