Deep fitted sheet FAQs
- What is a deep fitted sheet? - A deep fitted sheet is a sheet with 40cm depth which will fit mattresses measuring up to 40cm deep. The scooms fitted sheet is elasticated so it will also fit mattresses that are 20cm to 40cm deep.
- What depth is a deep fitted sheet? - 40cm deep. It is the same depth for single, double, king and super king sizes.
- What is an 'extra' deep fitted sheet? - A marketing term to make a deep fitted sheet sound better!
- What depth is a standard fitted sheet? - 35cm deep.
- Is 40cm a deep fitted sheet? - Yes
- What are deep pocket sheets? - This is just another term for deep fitted sheets.
- How deep are deep pocket fitted sheets? - 40cm
- Are double deep fitted sheets the same depth as king size deep fitted sheets? - Yes
- Do I need a deep fitted sheet? - Yes, unless you have an unusually thin mattress. Our fitted sheets are elasticated so they will also fit thinner mattresses.
- What about shrinkage? - Natural materials like cotton can shrink, so read the product details carefully. We make our scooms fitted sheets slightly oversized so that they shrink to the perfect size after the first couple of initial washes; phew!
- What depth fitted sheet do I need for a 25cm mattress? - We suggest a deep fitted sheet.
