Features matching buttonholes so any duvet can be fastened to another tog for added warmth. Our all-season duvet sets come with cufflink fasteners, plus spares, just in case you need them. And a feet label that makes it easy to figure out which way around your duvet goes. Remember to switch the head and feet ends around regularly to maintain even loft.
Excellent! We bought this as a homecoming treat when my husband was coming home from hospital following a serious illness. It made such a difference to him to come home to beautiful bedding. We feel completely cocooned in this duvet; it has improved sleep for both of us. We can’t thank you enough. The bedding too is beautiful quality.
Great weight and quality - super happy with this duvet!
This 3 in 1 duvet is top quality, very well made and is so incredibly soft and cosy without being too heavy, we’ve only used the two together as it has been cold. The filing is generous and well distributed and stays in place, making the bed has got easier as only a quick shake of the duvet is needed. Yes it is expensive but so luxurious and versatile as you can adapt it depending on the season. We're so pleased with our purchase and have not regretted it for a moment, I just wish I’d bought one sooner.
Snuggle down under this duvet is lovely. Wish I had bought it years ago.
Extreme warmth as well as lightweight. It’s like sleeping under a cloud and I’ve already noticed that my sleep has improved. Highly recommend.
Loving my new duvet,so comfy and warm. And when the evenings warm up I will be able to use just one of them. Such a clever idea to stack them, so you can use all year round
Excellent service. Duvet is superior quality and we are really pleased with it.
Fabulous duvet, worth the investment, we chose an emperor for a super king, its weighty but not when you are sleeping, it feels cloud like!
This is the most superb duvet I have ever slept under. It does not get over hot or too cold and appears plumped up from a light shake in the morning even after laying on top it can be plumpy
Bought a 2.5 tog from Scooms few years ago for summer use and it is so light yet still gives adequate warmth -so didn’t hesitate to buy this 4.5 tog recently thinking would be just perfect for spring/autumn use as needed. However, tried it on arrival (February) and it is just lovely - again - light but cosy and warm….and not yet Spring!! If replacement ever needed wouldn’t hesitate to use this helpful company for their excellent products.
Goose down has evolved over 1000s of years to be the world’s best natural insulator. It's finer, warmer and softer than duck down. It's also biodegradable. Our Hungarian goose down is a by-product of the food industry, ethically sourced, traceable and rigorously tested. It's from mature geese so the down clusters are large and dense, resulting in high 700 fill power. We've added 10% small white goose feather to give our duvet a bit of weight so that it doesn't float away during the night. Hello good night's sleep...
Ethically sourced Hungarian goose down and small white goose feather filling with a 300 thread count 100% Supersoft sateen cotton casing.
Our cotton casing is crafted with an especially tight weave to make it dust mite and down feather proof. Approved by the experts at Nomite.
Naturally breathable and moisture wicking Hungarian goose down and goose feather provides three to four times more air circulation than synthetic fillings.
Baffle stitching gives the down filling in our 9 tog duvet pockets extra space; while box stitching for our lighter tog duvets allows the down just the right amount of loft.
Duvet tog explains how warm a duvet will be, with a higher tog being more insulating and a lower tog, less insulating. The best duvet tog to choose depends on how you sleep - if you are a hot sleeper or cold sleeper - and the seasonal temperature.
If you only want to buy one duvet to use all year round, an all seasons duvet, also called a 3-in-1 duvet, provides 3 temperature options and can be a more cost-effective solution. Find out more in Our guide to duvet tog ratings.
The goose down and feather filling in the Scooms duvet is held in multiple pockets to provide an even spread of filling across the duvet and make sure the filling can't move around. We recommend rotating your duvet every time you change your duvet cover to maintain the fluffiness of the filling.
We use two different types of construction to maintain the loft of the down in each pocket:

Scooms goose down duvets are not noisy and there is no rustle or crinkle when you move around. Our duvets are encased in 100% Supersoft sateen cotton which won't make a noise when you or your other half roll over...
The reason that other brand duvets can be noisy is often because the casing is made with a stiff cotton or some kind of protective coating. Sometimes the noise lessens with use, but it frequently doesn't.
Scooms goose down duvets don’t smell. We carefully wash our goose down and feather in natural thermal spring water to remove any natural oils that could leave an odour. We don't use any chemicals in our production so there isn't any kind of chemical smell either. Our duvets are reassuringly Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, verifying that our duvet has been tested for harmful toxins and chemicals.
The Scooms duvet has a 100% cotton casing with a special tight weave to ensure it is both down and dust mite proof. Each Scooms Hungarian goose down duvet is double stitched so they are robust and durable.
The 10% white feather we use in our duvets is high quality and deliberately very small in size so that the quills are soft. Our down and feather filling is also sewn into multiple pockets, trapping the filling in individual pockets to ensure an even spread across the duvet.
