Our 4.5 tog double Hungarian goose down duvet is perfect for the warmer months of the year and for hot sleepers. A naturally breathable, lighter duvet, that's a must-have during warmer weather.

Natural materials

The special mix of 90% authentic Hungarian goose down with 10% small white goose feather, is what makes the scooms duvet so comfortable! Perfectly encased in 300 thread count cotton with a Supersoft sateen weave that has been tightly woven to be dust-mite proof.

Clever construction

Sewn through box stitching keeps the same amount of down trapped in each pocket of our 4.5 tog double size duvet, so there is no chance that all the filling will end up by your toes. Each pocket is also double stitched to prevent any down escaping. Keeping you comfortable the whole night long!

Seasonal comfort

A summer 4.5 tog double duvet that's designed to be just the right temperature during the summer months. If you're a hot sleeper, this is also a great option from autumn to spring as it has lower thermal insulation and is naturally breathable. Can be easily combined with another duvet.

The Oeko-Tex 100 standard verifies that the scooms duvet has been tested against harmful toxins and chemicals. The Nomite anti-allergen standard certifies its suitability for house dust mite allergy sufferers.

Far too warm

I should have been more thorough when purchasing but this duvet, although great quality is far too warm for any season apart from winter. Obviously, this is personal opinion but I am disappointed, It feels like a 4.5 tog.

The best

So I bought originally 4.5 tog for the white company thinking you know known brand name and trust, but it was 600 full power and was kinda light. I have previously bought a 2.5 Hungarian goose from scooms, for the summer. The white company doesn’t allow you to return duvets by the way … anyway so I read that scooms has 700 fill power I thought it might be just a bit more weighted which is exactly what I needed. Why all this plays into the review. Well with the light one from TWC, I’d get night sweats, the new one from scooms I got I have had a single night sweat since. So I honestly would always recommend scooms over the TWC & they are cheaper as well

Best thing I’ve bought this year!

Soft, light, gloriously warm and does not trigger my asthma at all. I now feel like a guest in a luxury hotel every night. Love everything about it - with the possible exception of the plastic tags which fix the two bits together, and do occasionally break or come apart inside the duvet cover! (Two buttons sewn back to back make a perfect replacement!) Still a five star product!
