Pillow care
Love your scooms pillow and it will love you:
- Shake and plump up your pillow daily to keep the goose down airy.
- Stand your pillow up each morning and open the window to allow air to circulate.
- Use a pillowcase in a breathable material like 100% cotton or linen and change it once a week or more often. Synthetics aren't breathable.
- An overly tight pillow protector or pillowcase can squash the down and affect the loft.
- Wash at 40° every 6-12 months using non-bio (enzyme free) detergent - about a third of the usual amount.
- Tumble dry on low heat. Your pillow will take longer to dry than a clothes load. Shake the pillow several times during drying to prevent clumping.
- Use our Wool Tumble Dryer Balls to keep the down filling aerated and to reduce drying time.
- Replace your pillow every 1 to 2 years for peak support.
