Three years ago we bought a summer duvet and it is amazing this year we spoiled ourselves with the autumn duvet. As living in Mallorca this is perfect for us we have used it now for a couple of weeks and it is just perfect. Sevice was amazing and as promised all taxes were paid by Scoom. We love both duvets, thank you 😁
Always hesitant with feather/down as they can smell, material can be crunchy, feathers leaking out…but I’m blown away with this duvet, there’s little to no smell, the fabric is so soft, and it is sooo plump.
Excellent duvet.
[I'm a long term convert from sheets and blankets!]
This is a quality item.
Great quality. The 60 sleep return policyi is reassuring when you’re spending this much but its well worth it,keeping the item
I absolutely love my new Scooms duvet. Honest to God, it’s like drifting off into a bed of clouds every night — you can really feel the luxury in the way it wraps around you. It’s wonderfully warm too, so if your apartment runs hot, I’d definitely recommend going for a lower tog.
I bought the two-duvet combination, and while the concept is brilliant, there’s one thing that drives me a bit mad: they keep splitting during the night. By morning, the duvet is uneven and lumpy, no matter how nicely I make the bed. It just never stays perfectly in place.
If they could fix that attachment issue, it would be an absolute 5-star dream. As it is, it’s still a beautiful, cosy duvet — just comes with a tiny bit of morning fuss.
Thanks so much for your review. It's great to hear that you love your all season duvet. The duvet fasteners we received with our last order don't seem as effective as previously; I am sorry. We have now upgraded to a stronger, more effective single piece fastener. We will post a pack to you today.
We ordered a 9 tog first but found it too warmand after a week exchanged it for the 7 tog. The customer service was excellent and there was no problem with the exchange. The only reason I have not given 5* is that the 7 tog is made up of two duvets together and so it is heavier than the 9 which was divinely light and fluffy. If we hadn't exchanged we'd have never known and we would have been perfectly happy but after experiencing a 9 we were a little disappointed by the weight of the 7
Service has been excellent from placing the order , delivery and product
I was not sure what tog to purchase since my husband is usually colder than me. However, after researching the website I decided to try the all season duvet, two duvets for one price. I have been using it for about 2-3 weeks. We are very pleased with the 2.5 tog duvet. It isn’t too hot for me and has the right amount of warmth for my husband. I plan on using the 9.5 tog on my extra bed.
We decided to splash out on the 13.5 tog duvet (9 + 4.5 tog) and we are so very pleased that we did. We are using the 9 tog as the temperatures have fallen so much. It is very light but drapes around you enveloping you in an all-over warmth. It is everything we hoped for. And it is not noisy!
Perfectly happy with the warmth, quick delivery to my front door. The delivery company followed instructions, which they rarely do!
Disappointed with the weight, it is very heavy. I compared it to my present duvet 100% down, also Hungarian and really feather light, same size, but I can pick it up with one finger, this one needs a great deal of power?!
No, the 100% cotton casing on our duvet has a special tight weave to make it both down and dust mite proof so you would only very rarely find a feather that manages to escape. Each duvet is double stitched so they are robust and durable.
The 10% white feather we use in our duvets is high quality and deliberately small in size so that the quills are soft. Our down and feather filling is also sewn into multiple pockets, trapping the filling in individual pockets to ensure an even spread across the duvet.
All our duvets come with buttonholes so you can fix two together with our pull apart cufflink fasteners. To fix 2 duvets together, lay one on top of the other so that the buttonholes match, then attach each part of the fastener to the outer sides of each buttonhole and push the fasteners together. We recommend attaching one fastener to each duvet corner and then 3 on each side for double, king, super king and emperor size duvets. See our Duvet fastener guide for full instructions.
No, Scooms goose down duvets are not noisy and there is no rustle or crinkle when you move around. Our duvets are encased in 100% Supersoft sateen cotton which won't make a noise when you or your other half roll over...
If you choose to use a pillow protector, make sure it is made from a breathable material like cotton and that the protector is not overly tight as this can squash the down and affect the loft of the pillow. Alternatively, change your pillowcase every few days to keep your pillow clean. See our guide on How to care for your Scooms pillows.
Yes, you can wash our goose down and feather pillows in your washing machine if your drum is large enough or at a laundrette. Follow the instructions on the care label. We recommend that you wash your pillow at 40° every 6-12 months or when required to keep your pillow filling fluffy. Make sure you dry your pillow carefully and shake your pillow during the drying process to unclump the wet down. Read our guide - How to clean your pillow.
Duvet covers are always made to fit the same size duvet, so you don’t need to buy a bigger duvet cover size than your duvet.
